FAQ

How does the IV treatment process work?

The IV infusion therapy process is meant to be quick and easy. Visit our website, select the desired treatment, and book an appointment. At booking, there will be a quick intake form to collect pertinent medical information and if necessary a telephonic physician consultation.

What information do I need to provide at time of booking?

You will be asked to complete a basic health questionnaire. This is designed to assess your ability to receive IV infusion therapy and ensure your safety throughout the treatment process. All information will be strictly confidential and collected through our secure client portal.

Will there be a consultation with a physician prior to treatment?

You can always request to consult with a physician prior to receiving IV infusion therapy. In instances where there are safety concerns due to designated medical conditions, a telephonic consultation will automatically be triggered after review of intake form. Some clients may not meet criteria for our IV fluid therapy services based on criteria set by our Medical Director. IV therapies are not intended to treat, diagnose, or cure but are for the purpose of pursuing wellness.

What locations are your hydration therapy services currently available?

We provide our services at our Prosper location, and provide our concierge services in the DFW Metroplex.

How often can I get an IV treatment?

IV treatments will be customized to your body’s needs. Healthy people may receive several treatments per week.

Once booking is complete, how long does it take for a skilled nursing provider to come to me?

We will do our best to accommodate a short notice reservation within 4 hours of booking. Additional fees will be assessed for short notice bookings. There is no additional charge for treatments booked outside of 4 hours.

Are there any side effects during the IV process?

No major side effects are typically experienced during or after an IV treatment. Mild bruising and bleeding may occur. A cold or chilled sensation is common while fluids are being administered. Some clients report that they are able to “taste” the vitamins during infusion.

How soon should I expect to feel the effects of IV infusion therapy?

Results will vary based on symptoms and treatments. Nausea generally improves within the first hour after treatment. Other common symptoms like headache, fatigue and malaise are then next to subsidies.

How long does the IV treatment last?

IV treatments are typically 1 hour from start to finish.

I’ve been told that I don’t have “good” veins. Can I still receive treatment?

We offer a variety of gauge sizes to accommodate our clients. Our skilled nursing team members are experts and trained to start IVs on clients that are dehydrated or have veins that are harder to access.

Can I pay for IV treatments with my insurance?

Unfortunately, we do not accept private insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid for our IV therapies. Payment by cash or credit will be expected at time of service. If your insurance plan offers reimbursement we are able to provide you with a form to submit to your health plan if you wish.

Do you perform background checks on all of your nurses?

Yes, all of our companion care and skilled nursing providers are screened through a rigorous background check prior to hire.

Do you provide discounts for groups or special events?

Yes, we do provide group discounts for parties of 5 or more. Please contact our office at 469-499-3738 with details of the event and party size.
